A 50-Year Legacy of Family & Extraordinary Travel

E. Clarke Travel was founded in 1974 and has been a trusted name in luxury travel ever since. In an age where algorithms and AI promise convenience, our family-run agency proves that nothing replaces the human touch. We've navigated the rise of the internet, global uncertainty, and changing travel habits — not by chasing trends, but by staying rooted in what matters: providing real guidance and personalized support to craft memories that last a lifetime.
Our story is one rooted in family and a deep love for the art of travel. It began when Arlette Strauss, a French immigrant and young mother of three, stepped into the industry with a mission to help her community discover the beauty of travel and the richness of different cultures. What started as a passion project quickly grew into a flourishing business built on empathy, trust, and expertise. Her daughter Karen soon joined her, and together they expanded the agency’s reach while maintaining its boutique sensibility — until Arlette retired at the remarkable age of 80. Karen’s husband, Wahid, joined the leadership, and their son Adam now brings a fresh digital perspective to the agency.
Today, E. Clarke Travel is a proudly multigenerational family enterprise — powered by decades of shared knowledge, strong industry relationships, and an unwavering commitment to excellence.
